"My heart belongs to France, but my body is my own"

I though about posting on Isabel Marant this morning, when I was reading, "Parisiennes- A celebration of French women" published by Flammarion. A gigantic book with mostly pictures by Robert Doisneau and Jacques Henri Lartigue who celebrate a century of women's history in France.
According to this book, french women are the quintessence of chic, well-pulled, and have a special taste for freedom. Either if it's true or false, in my own clichés, Isabel Marant do represent what French's stereotype express. Even tho she always tried to stay off the fashion spotlight, she can't help it because she is one of the most influential/interesting designer of today's France. Launched in 1994, her brand is now sold mostly in Asia and in Europe, with a few distributors in America.

ENJOY
