The last timetime I ran into Justin Saunders of JJJJOUND was last Thursday in front of Blue Dog Motel. I was waiting for a post since a few weeks. What is more dissapointing, on the blogosphere world, than clicking every 3-4 days on a blog and seeing nothing new to nourish your web addiction? His answer about his lack of posting was simple; the more people that come to see his blog; the more he become self-conscious about the pictures he's putting.
Justin fashion/aesthetics tastes are simple, flawless, see impeccable. It's a perfect balance between what we like to categorize as street and chic. I only feel guilty because all these perfect bodies, perfect items are simply out of my current reach. This image (see above) was on the top of his last entry. Among all the flicks stolen from various Fashion website, Jak & Jill, Garance Doré, etc., only this one sticked into my brain for the entire day. I came to the point when I tried to define and categorize myself into only one of these definitions. But I simply can't.
As powerful as it sounds at the first glance; this is pure high-snobbism. I don't know (hardly) anyone who can't fit into the three definitions. Human are cursed; we tend to elevate ourselves above common/ordinary social behaviours. Then, we think that compare to them; we have ideas. Ideas are basically like discussing people. It's a model of comparison. Except they sound more mature.
