You may never have heard of her; but she is most probably going to be the first woman to write down in her CV the title of ''Prime minister of Canada''. Feminist at heart, and uberly thoughtful, she is bound to give birth to a nation of over-educated and self-manered kids. She is one of my dearest friend, and she's quite a darling. Think of Jackie O, with a bit of Simone de Beauvoir, with the Italian explosive personality of...(i'd find this one Ashley, i promise). I wish I could slip her into my backpocket.

ReplyDeleteI remember I was quite happy when I heard that Kim Campbell was elected. At this time, I was a really young kid, and the simple thought of having a woman for prime minister was touching. But ...do we remember Kim Campbell? Sadly, the answer is no.
